The style of this geometric design is of a mandala, a symbol with repeating patterns all coming from a central point. I incorporated lacrosse heads along with curving lines, teardrops and circles. I started with a basic hand drawn version and recreated it in Illustrator. This project was very enjoyable to me and has been popular with girls and women.

For this project, I illustrated a lacrosse head for women’s apparel. The challenge was in making the strings realistic, while giving it a delicate feel. The end result was detailed and attractive to appeal to young women. This athletic design has also been adapted for cell phone wallets.
